Dear Mr. Creighton,

     I was shocked to hear your daughter's complaint against the interview on public access channel 20. Once anyone goes on the public stage, they are entitled to, and will get, whatever comes their way.

     We have a right to speak at Town Board public meetings. If someone doesn't like what is on tv, it is very simple, just don't watch it. I was embarrassed for you. 

     I hope you did not instigate your daughter to appear at the last Town Board meeting. That is her business and your business. As for LocalViewsonline.com, Lenore Cernitz has every right to state her association with it just like your daughter said, "In the interest of full disclosure". If your daughter can state her association with you, so can Lenore Cerntiz or anyone else,  state their association in the interest of full disclosure.  Neither you or anyone else determine what is and what is not a private conversation. If you want things private then do not speak or take it behind closed doors. 

     On another note, would you apprise Mr. Frank DeRubeis that he should not be running up to Town Council members during meetings and whispering in their ears. If he has something to say, he should go to the microphone. We look forward to attending more Town Board meetings.
