The St. Patrick's Church (Smithtown) announcement of a Carnival became an issue when there were no signs displayed for this day's hearing. Interestingly, the follow-up has produced more concerns for the community. See Letter from Lenore Cernitz in the
"Call for Justice" section of LOCAL VIEWS website dated 4/20/09....Proposed amendments to special Events and Parades was announced but not discussed.....
Lenore Cernitz also spoke again on the FOIL issues that have not been resolved by this Town Board....
STOP came to the Town Board to talk about the disposal of hazardous waste. They brought 3000 signatures signed by residents to support this cause.
