CAROLYN CIARELLI
Candidate for
Library Trustee

Another interview, in a series of four, with a candidate for a seat on the Library Board of Trustees. Carolyn Ciarelli sat down for a discussion on Library issues with Local Views Host Victoria Brown. With a broad background in Library Science, Technology, and work experience, Carolyn Ciarelli found that this was the time and the opportunity to serve the community as the Library moves forward with its plans to expand services in four facilities within the Town. She speaks of the role of the Library, using volunteerism, looking for waste and the problem of communication between the Library and the community. There is some talk of her difficult experience in obtaining information relevant to a candidate when running for this office. All part of the problem of communication and transparency for the community. Carolyn Ciarelli has some interesting insight and solutions to issues surrounding the Library. Serious consideration should be given to this candidate when voting on October 14th, 2008. Take the time to view this conversation.
