The Long Island Sound Study in cooperation with the Hauppauge School District, took high school students to the Sunken Meadow State Park to examine the Tidal Basin where salt water meets fresh water to examine the life under the water. The outreach coordinator for the study, Larissa Graham brought educators and students together for the project. Local Views is helping to bring the students experience back to everyone.
