The Long Island Sound Study in
cooperation with the Hauppauge School District conducted an environmental educational program at
Sunken Meadow Park. They participated in a field study doing water analysis, fish staining, leaf rubbings and in general having the experience of interacting with nature and learning how to be land stewards.

to watch and learn along side those interested in the beauty of our community.
