Three items at this work session of Town Board members were concerning the town of St. James; -- two (2) banks to be built and a TelCom application at the St. James Plaza. The TD Bank (previously known just as Commerce Bank) going in on Lake Ave. will now have a two faced clock erected in front as a condition of the Planning Board. The bank was required to revamp it's style and brick. Check all conditions. And the second bank, not heard about before, to be built on Route 25a on the site of the abandoned Shell Station. The style does not appear to be anything of note but the condition is that it have traditional brick.
Will that make a difference?
Councilwoman Biancaniello brought up the issue of clerical understaffing for the school age child program.
